Oil on canvas board, c.1940's. Signed in black, lower right. In a rustic gray frame with a white linen liner. The image depicts a scene from the east end of Long Island, probably the North Sea area, where Cikovsky maintained a studio and home during the 1940's. He was a major participant in the Hampton Bays Art Group, along with David Burliuk, the Soyer brothers, Raphael, Moses, and Isaac, George Constant, and others.
