S.Chester DanforthDanforth was born in 1896, in Ithaca, New York, but lived most of his life in Chicago and the surrounding area. He studied art in Chicago at
the Art Institute and the Academy of Fine Arts. Danforth is admired for his architectural etchings of
Chicago, done in both color and black and white.
