Drypoint, c.1938, edition about 25. Signed in the plate, lower left and in pencil, lower right. Published by the New York City WPA Federal Art Project. Printed on wove paper with large margins. Sheet size: 14-3/4 x 18 in. In very good condition, other than some rippling of the paper in the outer areas of the margins. Constant was noted as a pioneer of American modernism in the field of graphic art and painting. His works may be found in numerous American museums and other institutions. He did 34 prints for the Federal Art Project NYC WPA.
