Lithograph, c.1943, edition limited but unknown, probably an edition less than 50. In very good condition, printed on a parchment-like paper with a watermark, Basingwerk Parchment. Sheet size: 14-3/4 x 20 in. An exceptional and sensitive portrayal of defense workers on the home front during World War II. Exhibited in America in the War, 1943, at various museums and art galleries. Mentioned in the catalogue, Artists For Victory, 1983, Library of Congress, p.106. Illustrated in World War II in American Art, Robert Henkes, 2007, pp.89-90.
